Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.

PSG are next in action against Bordeaux in Ligue 1 at the Parc des Princes on Saturday. Leipzig return to Bundesliga action on the same day at home to Arminia Bielefeld.

The German outfit pressed for an equaliser, but lacked a clinical edge in the final third. Yussuf Poulsen and Emil Forsberg were both guilty of missing opportunities that could well have earned their side a share of the spoils.

Nagelsmann has made three changes to his team to take on PSG this evening. Mukiele comes into the back four to replace Adams at right-back. Kampl drops out of the side for Forsberg, while Sorloth is replaced by Poulsen as the spearhead of the attack.

Tuchel has responded to his side’s defeat to Monaco at the weekend by making six changes. Florenzi, Marquinhos, Bakker, Paredes, Herrera and Neymar slot back into the starting line-up. Presnel Kimpembe and Idrissa Gueye are suspended, while Dagba, Kurzawa, Kean, Sarabia and Rafinha all drop to the bench this evening.

RB LEPIZIG SUBS: Willi Orban, Philipp Tschauner, Tyler Adams, Alexander Sorloth, Lazar Samardzic, Justin Kluivert, Josep Martinez, Benjamin Heinrichs, Dennis Borkowski, Kevin Kampl, Eric Martel, Joscha Wosz.

Leipzig can take a huge stride towards the knockout stage with a victory tonight. They have been impressive outside of their hammering at the hands of Manchester United in the group stage. Julian Nagelsmann’s side displayed their resolve to overcome PSG in their last European game, bouncing back from a goal down to win in Leipzig. Their Bundesliga form has been solid since, although they were held by Eintracht Frankfurt at the weekend. A clinical edge is required in Paris.

PSG desperately need to find their form in the Champions League, sitting off the pace of the top two sports after three matches. Thomas Tuchel’s men have been beaten by Manchester United and Leipzig, suffering a 2-1 defeat last time out against the German outfit. They were beaten last time out by Monaco in Ligue 1, squandering a 2-0 lead in the process. A response is required tonight.

Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the Champions League clash between Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig at the Parc des Princes.
