Accra Hearts of Oak communications director, Opare Addo has reacted to recent media reports making headlines that the continental club masters and their kits sponsors Umbro, are a in bit of friction regards to contractual obligations.
It was reported the international kits manufacturing company, which has a lot of international partnership with numerous outfits across the globe are not happy about the sale of the kits given the Ghanaian giants hence, an implication on the new seasons stock which reports have it are yet to be printed by Umbro and even the logo of the club has been taken off the official website of the company.
In a response to Kumasi based SikkaFM on 7:30 Sports on Monday, Opare Addo averred, “we still have agreement with Umbro. We are still using their kits”.
Asked about the required percentage the club had to sell to warrant a new production he answered, “we bought the specified number of the replica and some are still in stock”.
“It can never be true we haven’t sold 10% of the replica”, he ended.
