GHANAIANS SHOULD PARDON THE BLACK STARS FOR THEIR POOR PERFORMANCE AGAINST THE EAGLES OF MALI- Henry Asente

The Communications Director for the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Mr. Henry Asante Twum has pleaded on behalf of the Senior National Team for their poor performance against Mali yesterday.

Speaking in an interview on Kumasi based FOX FM, Henry revealed that, everyone was shocked with the results and performance displayed by the Black Stars. “We were all not pleased with the performance of the Black Stars”.

According to Henry Asante Twum, considering the previous training at camp, we expected a better result and performance from the Black Stars, but what we witnessed yesterday was abysmal.

“Ghanaians should forgive us for such a poor performance from the Black Stars and expect a better game against Qatar come Monday”.

Ghana Black Stars lost 3-0 to their West African opponents, Mali in an International Friendly game on Friday – 9th October, 2020. The Black Stars will play their second friendly game against Qatar on Monday ahead of their preparations for next month’s AFCON qualifiers.
