BT Sport Studios, London – In a heavyweight main event, undefeated puncher Daniel Dubois (15-0, 14 KOs) demolished late replacement Ricardo Snijders (18-2, 8 KOs) in the second round.
Dubois now moves forward to a highly anticipated showdown with Olympic silver medal winner Joe Joyce, which has a tentative date of October 24. There is a possibility the fight will be postponed to a late date, depending on the COVID-19 restrictions.
When the fight began, Dubois came out pushing the pace and applying pressure on Snijders. A cracking let hook to the body sent Snijders down to his knees. A barrage of punches scored a quick second knockdown. Snijders got back up to his feet and he was dropped by another combination of shots for a third knockdown.
In the second round, Dubois started with a series of punches to send Snijders down for a fourth time and the fight was waved off.
