Is Chisora The Absolute Worst Opponent For Fury To Fight?

By Charles Brun: WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury will meet Derek Chisora for the third time in their trilogy fight on December 3rd, according to promoter Frank Warren.

Unless Fury stays in first gear the entire fight, he’s going to wipe out Chisora in one or two rounds, and the fans are going to scream bloody murder for having wasted their hard-earned money with this eyesore.

For a lot of fans, they’re not going to bother paying to watch Fury vs. Chisora III because it’s one that they won’t feel it’s worth purchasing. It’s one of those fights that you catch on YouTube that night or the next day. Of course, many fans will choose to pirate it by watching it on a stream rather than paying.

In an interesting comment, Warren said that Chisora could give Tyson a tougher fight than Anthony Joshua.

I don’t think too many boxing fans will believe that unless they haven’t seen Chisora fight for a decade or so because he’s not anywhere near the level of Joshua. AJ, at his worst, is leagues better than Chisora, and sadly, Fury was willing to stoop to this level.

It’s unclear why Warren mentioned Joshua’s name because he’s not the one Fury is fighting on December 3rd.

For some reason, Chisora keeps getting trotted out and used as a punching bag for the top heavyweights to beat up, and it’s not sporting in any way, shape, or form.

Fury could have selected a far better opponent for his December 3rd fight than Chisora.

You can’t get worse than this because Chisora is tragically shopworn, and you got to worry about what his life will be like once he’s out of the sport.

The fans are highly upset at the choice of the badly washed 38-year-old Chisora (33-12, 23 KOs) because they don’t want to pay for slop to watch cherry pick for Fury (33-0-1, 23 KOs) to beat up on.

“We’ve got the highest ranked opponent, which is Derek Chisora,” said Frank Warren told iFL TV about Tyson Fury’s next opponent on December 3rd. “That’s where we’re going, and that’ll be on December the third.”

“I hope it’ll be competitive, but I think Tyson is head & shoulders above all of them anyway.

“I think Derek might give him a better fight than Anthony Joshua. I’m not being disrespectful to him. I just think he [Joshua] is more vulnerable.
